West Point is a W facing sand and shingle beach offering bump and jump sailing for more experienced sailors. The best winds are strong SW as these create larger waves, which are perfect for jumping. There are no real rip tides but the rough conditions aren’t really suitable for beginners.
Getting there: Head S on the A499 from Caernarfon and follow the road until you reach a small town called Aberdesach. There is then a path to the beach
